Join us for our monthly Chorus Boosters meeting next Tuesday, February 11, at 6:30 in the Choir Room. We'll be discussing spring semester choir events and fundraisers.
"Making Music, Making a Difference: A Choral Showcase" brings together the UNC Women's Glee Club and women's ensembles from Carrboro High School, Cedar Ridge High School, Chapel Hill High School, and Durham School of the Arts, for an evening of classical and modern music for female voices. This event will be held Friday, February 7 at 8:00pm in Hill Hall on the UNC campus.
Admission: $5 or donation of nonperishable food items. All proceeds go to the Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC. Help is needed before, during, and after the evening performances on December 13 and 14, as well as before the dress rehearsal on Thursday, December 12. In addition, we’ll need donations of bottled water, fruit, and snacks to add to the meal we’ll be serving the students on Thursday and Friday.

The CRHS Concert Choir sings seasonal songs during the 27th Annual Hillsborough Holiday Tour of Homes on Sunday, December 8. Join us for this free performance at 3:00pm at the First Baptist Church of Hillsborough.

Remember that if you are working with students, you will first need to complete the volunteer registration process required by Orange County. This must be done every school year. Thank you for helping to make this event a success. We couldn't do it without you! December brings the Madrigal Dinner, a tale of kings and queens, peasants and jesters, revelry and song as guests are served a delicious meal. The 10th annual Madrigal Dinners will be held at 6:00pm on Friday, December 13, and Saturday, December 14.
Tickets will go on sale Monday, November 25. Tickets can only be purchased through Ms. Pegram and payment is required at the time of purchase. Cost is $30 per ticket. There's no limit on tickets but they will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis. Be sure to let her know if someone in your party will need wheelchair-accessible seating.
